The worst ever in the history of Myanmar, the tropical Cyclone Nargis attacked the low lying delta area of Myanmar, including the capital Yangon on Friday, 05/02/08.
It is believed more than 134,000 are dead or missing and the death toll could reach more than 300,000 according to the local. In one small town Bogalay alone, at least 100,000 were claimed dead. In another town hit hard by Nargis, Laputta, about 100,000 were dead or missing.
